This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how NeonVest, Inc. and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries (collectively, “NeonVest”, “we” or “us”) collect, use, and disclose your personal information in connection with any use services offered by NeonVest, including the use of the https://www.neonvest.com/ website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using or accessing the Services, you confirm that you have received, and agree to, this Policy and consent to the collection, disclosure, storage, transfer, and use of your personally identifiable information, and other information provided to us, as described herein. Please be advised that some features of the Services do not require any sort of registration.

NeonVest and its affiliates may share this personal information with each other and use it consistent with this Policy. You are not required to provide the personal information that we have requested, but, if you chose not to do so, in many cases we will not be able to provide you with our products or Services or respond to any queries you may have.

What Personal Information We Collect


Personal information is data that can be used to identify and contact a single individual. NeonVest collects data to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our Services. You provide some of this data directly, such as when you start a NeonVest account. When you do, certain personal information such as your name, email address, and credit card information is collected. Certain personal information is combined with other information to provide and improve our products, Services, content, and advertising. In connection with the Services we collect various forms of personal information, such as the following:

  • When you enroll as a member or access some of our services, we may collect a variety of information, including your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, contact preferences, personal photograph and credit card information.

In connection with the Services we collect various forms of non-personal information. Depending on your use of the Services and the access permissions you’ve chosen for your device(s), certain other information about your device(s) and your use of the Services may also be collected from your computer, phone, tablet or other devices where you access our Services. Some of the different types of information we collect are listed below:

  • We may collect information such as a unique device identifier, IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and location of where Services are used so that we can better understand customer behavior and improve our Services, advertising, and safety and security measures.

How We Use Information 

  • We use the information we collect to improve and personalize the Services and to develop new ones. Additionally, we use the information to troubleshoot and protect against errors, perform data analysis and testing, conduct research, and develop new features. 
  • The personal information we collect allows us to keep you posted on NeonVest’s latest Services, announcements, updates to any Services, safety and emergency notification and instructions, as well as any upcoming events.
  • We also use the personal information to create, develop, operate, deliver, and improve our Services, content and advertising.
  • To analyze how users use our Services and individual features.
  • To manage the performance of our Services.
  • For internal purposes such as auditing, marketing, data analysis, and research to improve the Services and our communication with members.
  • For participation in our surveys or events.
  • For security and to enforce or defend legal rights, privacy, safety or property, including for loss prevention and anti-fraud purposes.


PAYMENT AND CARD INFORMATION


Some aspects of the Services may require or support payments and transactions with third parties. If you activate this feature, you must provide certain information and verification, such as your name, credit, debt or other card number, card expiration date, and CVV code. This information is encrypted and sent to your card network, which upon approval sends back to your device a token, which is a set of random digits for engaging in transactions without exposing your card number. For your convenience, we store the last four digits of your card number and your card issuer’s name and contact information. 


If you purchase anything from NeonVest on our website or through our app, you provide your payment information, including your name, credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address. We do not store this payment information. We store your shipping address to fulfill your order. Note that third-party payment processors may retain this information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.


DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES


At times NeonVest may make certain personal and non-personal information available to our corporate affiliates, service providers and other strategic partners in compliance with appropriate confidentiality and security measures. These partners provide us with various services, including customer support, information technology, payments, marketing, safety and security measures and protocols, and data analysis and surveys. We may disclose your personal information in the following circumstances to the following parties:

  • Our Services involve the use of online and offline member communities, forums and networks that allow you to connect and share with others. In order to do this, certain personal information is provided to the other members as part of a user profile. 
  • NeonVest shares personal information with companies who provide services such as information processing, extending credit, fulfilling customer orders, delivering products to you, managing and enhancing customer data, providing customer service, assessing your interest in the Services, and conducting customer research or satisfaction surveys. These companies are obligated to protect your information, including through the use of encryption.
  • NeonVest may share personal information with third-parties that provide features and functionality to the Services, including via plug-ins and application programming interface (API) integrations. Even if you do not interact with social networking services or other plug-ins, they may collect information about you, such as your IP address and the pages that you view. 
  • As necessary – to comply with applicable law or relevant legal process, litigation and/or requests from public and/or governmental authorities –NeonVest may disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.  
  • We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.


RIGHT OF ACCESS AND CONTROL


We are continuously working to develop and improve our Services. Currently, we do not provide access to modify account or privacy settings but such services will be added in the future so that you can access and control your personal data as well as change or delete personal information. Additionally, we are working to provide you with the ability to access privacy controls so that you can adjust or otherwise revoke the access of third-party applications that you previously connected to your NeonVest account. 


PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AND RETENTION


NeonVest takes great care to protect your personal information at all times. We keep your account information, like your name, email address, and password, for as long as your account is in existence. Despite our best efforts, no security program is complete safe or free from vulnerability. Although we take great effort to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal or other information. NeonVest will retain your personal information, as well as any information about your use of the Services, for as long as necessary for our legitimate business interests, legal reasons and to prevent harm, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. 


COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES


NeonVests’ websites, online services and interactive applications, emails and advertisements may use “cookies” and other forms of technology, such as pixel tags and web beacons. These technologies help us and our partners remember personal information when you use our website, online services and applications in order to make your experience more convenient and personal. They also allow us to obtain a better understanding of how our members use our Services, including by obtaining information on what websites people have visited in order to, amongst other things, measure the effectiveness of advertisements and web searches. Such information is treated as non-personal information. To the extent that such non-personal information is combined with personal information, such as IP address or similar identifiers, we treat the combined information as personal information for purposes of this Policy. 
On many of your devices, you may disable cookies by adjusting your browser settings. Please note that certain features of NeonVest and the Services may not be available once cookies are disabled.


CHILDREN’S PRIVACY


Only persons age 13 or older have permission to access our Services. Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personal information from Children and Children are not permitted to access the Services without their parent’s verifiable consent. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction, outside the above circumstances we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
